2014 AGF Triathlon Challenge

The AGF Triathlon event took place in Louiseville on last September 6.

Our warmest thanks to all participants to the triathlon. The day went very well, apart from the weather which was a source of extreme sensations and continuous efforts during the cycling and running activities. Fortunately, the sun came out for the golfing activity, and no one was hurt during the entire event. We will keep fond memories (and a few aches!) of that special day.

In light of the success of the happening, we already think of organizing another triathlon next year, planning to improve it even more, and make it an annual event. In order to collect more funds next year, it was suggested that each participant invite another person to enroll, which would double the size of our group for an even more stimulating event.

We wish to thank all volunteers who gave time and energy to ensure the success of the triathlon.

During the event, we proceeded to the draw for a trip to New York on the AGF plane. The happy winners, Serge Larouche, Denise Piché, Samuel Thibault, Marie-Pier Fournier, Anne Alexandre, Francis Thivierge, Lyne Fournier, and Stéphane Bérubé, flew to New York on October 18-19 as planned, with our pilot Stéphane Rauzières. Everyone came back quite enchanted from their stay in the Big Apple. Thanks to everybody at Hydro Mobile, AGF Element, AGF Du-For, Ecan Steel, ATR Steel, and Longueuil, who bought tickets.

The total funds collected in connection with that day amount to $5,900. Congratulations to all!
