At the Awards for Excellence in concrete construction gala, held on March 14 and organized by ACI Québec and Eastern Ontario, we were honored to see several projects to which AGF Group contributed recognized.
National Bank of Canada head office, Montreal
We are honoured to have been recognized by the Institut d'acier d'armature du Québec, which awarded the Mention IAAQ to the new head office of the National Bank of Canada in Montreal, in which we participated. This award was dedicated to the project that stood out for its relevant, innovative and distinctive use of reinforcing steel in its construction.
This 40-storey above-ground and six-storey below-ground office tower has an impressive flared appearance, requiring special reinforcement solutions, including the integration of 500 MPa X-reinforcement in the coupling beams and post-tensioning on the 11th floor. In all, more than 11,000 metric tons of reinforcing steel were required for this project.
Collège Notre-Dame Sports Centre, Montreal
This new sports center, which won the prize in the "Exposed or Decorative Concrete" category, will showcase the various physical activities offered by Collège Notre-Dame.
The REM (Light Rail Train) - Réseau Métropolitain Express
This automated light rail system, which will become the world's longest automated subway line on completion, was honored with both the Infrastructure category award and the Excellence Award 2024.
The AGF Group is actively involved in this project, supplying and installing reinforcing steel for 22 metro stations, 4 service buildings, 2 bus terminals, the South Shore overhead line and the Deux-Montagnes line.
Major refurbishment and transformation of Montreal's Mont-Royal station
This station, where work was carried out to maintain infrastructure in good condition and ensure employee safety, won the "Low-rise buildings" category.
628 St-Jacques, Montreal
This elegant 35-storey residential tower in Old Montreal won in the "High-rise" category.

En la gala Awards of Excellence for Concrete Construction, celebrada el 14 de marzo y organizada por ACI Québec y Eastern Ontario, tuvimos el honor de ver reconocidos varios proyectos a los que contribuyó el Grupo AGF.
Sede del Banco Nacional de Canadá en Montreal
Tenemos el honor de haber sido reconocidos por el Institut d'acier d'armature du Québec, que otorgó la Mención IAAQ a la nueva sede del National Bank of Canada en Montreal, en la que participamos. El premio se concedió al proyecto que destacó por el uso relevante, innovador y distintivo del acero de armadura en su construcción.
Esta torre de oficinas de 40 plantas sobre rasante y seis plantas bajo rasante tiene un impresionante aspecto abocinado, que requiere soluciones especiales de refuerzo, incluida la integración de refuerzo X de 500 MPa en las vigas de acoplamiento y el postensado en la planta 11ª. Centro deportivo Collège Notre-Dame, Montreal

El Réseau express métropolitain
Este sistema automatizado de metro ligero, que se convertirá en la línea de metro automatizada más larga del mundo cuando esté terminada, ha sido galardonado con el premio de la categoría Infraestructuras y con "Le grand prix d'Excellence 2024.
El Grupo AGF participa activamente en este proyecto, suministrando e instalando la armadura de 22 estaciones de metro, 4 edificios de servicios, 2 terminales de autobuses y la catenaria de la orilla Sur y de la línea Deux-Montagnes.
Importante renovación y transformación de la estación de Mont-Royal en Montreal
Esta estación, en la que se realizaron obras para mantener la infraestructura en buen estado y garantizar la seguridad de los empleados, ganó el premio en la categoría de "Edificios de baja altura".

Esta elegante torre residencial de 35 plantas en el Viejo Montreal recibió el premio en la categoría de "Edificios de gran altura".
