AGF Chile has been selected to build a section of the tunnel boring machine for Line 7 of the Santiago metro in Chile.
For this section, with work beginning in December, we’ll be supplying about 5,000 MT of reinforcing steel, and will be involved in cutting and bending.The structures of the concrete segment will also be assembled in our plant.
In all, the project will involve at least 35 AGF workers, along with welders, fitters and supervisors.
This is a remarkable project, since it will be the first underground section built with a segmental system in Chile.
The project is expected to be completed sometime in the summer of 2025.
AGF Chile ha sido seleccionada para construir un tramo de la tuneladora de la línea 7 del metro de Santiago de Chile.
Para esta parcela que comienza en diciembre, proporcionaremos alrededor de 5000 t de armadura y participaremos en el corte y en el plegado. Las estructuras doveladas también se ensamblarán en nuestra fábrica.
En total, se movilizarán no menos de 35 trabajadores de AGF, entre soldadores, montadores y supervisores.
Es un gran proyecto ya que será la primera sección subterránea construida con un sistema segmentario en Chile.
Se espera que el proyecto finalice alrededor del verano de 2025.
