Thank you to Gerry Comeau for sponsoring the Cambridge Coyotes girls mites softball team! This is new team of 12 girls ages 7 to 9 who are practicing to compete in the 2019 softball season and will be traveling to several parts of Ontario.
As they grow older the team will travel across Canada and to parts of the USA.
When each of these 12 girls were told they made the team the coach had 3 questions for them: 1.Are you willing to work hard? 2. Are you willing to be dedicated to your team? and the most important 3. Can you follow the most important rule? To have fun.
Organized sports like this help keep kids busy and out of trouble! It can even sometimes end up becoming a career. More than anything though, it creates a small community within a sometimes big city where a sense of community can be hard to find and depending on where you live almost impossible.

¡Gracias a Gerry Comeau por patrocinar al equipo de sóftbol infantil femenino Coyotes de Cambridge! Este es un equipo nuevo de doce niñas de entre siete y nueve años de edad que practican para competir en la temporada de sóftbol 2019 y que viajarán a varias partes de Ontario.
Conforme crecen, el equipo viajará a través de Canadá y a algunas partes de EE. UU. Cuando se les dijo a cada una de estas doce niñas que harían el equipo, el coach les hizo tres preguntas: 1. ¿Estás dispuesta a trabajar duro? 2. ¿Estás dispuesta a dedicarte a tu equipo? Y la más importante: 3. ¿Puedes seguir la regla más importante? Divertirte.
Los deportes organizados como este les ayudan a los niños a ¡mantenerse ocupados y a no meterse en líos! Algunas veces también puede terminar siendo una carrera. Sin embargo, más que nada crea una pequeña comunidad en ocasiones en una gran ciudad en la que el sentido comunitario puede ser difícil de encontrar y, dependiendo del lugar, casi imposible.
