Since July 2023, our Caraquet teams have been working on a new project: the Regional Generations Centre in Caraquet.
This project will continue until September 2024, while the 77 metric tons of steel and 550 sheets of wire mesh are installed.
The town is enthusiastic about this project.
Good to know: This is the biggest construction site of its kind in the Caraquet community since the early 2010s.
We are very proud to be part of it.
In total, around ten AGF workers are involved in this project, both to build the foundations and the ice rink.
Some walls reach a height of 14 feet, which has led to some interesting challenges!
Desde el pasado mes de julio de 2023, nuestros equipos de Caraquet trabajan en un nuevo proyecto: el Centro Regional de las Generaciones en Caraquet. Este proyecto continuará hasta septiembre de 2024; el tiempo que toma instalar las 77 t de acero y las 550 hojas de malla metálica.
En total, una decena de trabajadores de AGF se han movilizado para este proyecto con el fin de construir los cimientos y la pista de patinaje del lugar.
Se les presentaron varios desafíos, ya que algunas paredes no tienen menos de 4 m (14 ft) de altura.
