We are proud to announce that Serge Gendron, engineer and president of  AGF Group, was awarded the Grand Prix d'excellence by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec on May 3. Mr. Gendron was honoured by his peers for his qualities as a visionary, his innovations and his social commitment.

This award is the highest honour conferred by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec on a Quebec engineer. It has been presented annually since 1991 and acknowledges the outstanding career achievements of an engineer as a role model for the profession.

A prestigious medal created by the Quebec artist  Pierre Tessier was presented to Mr. Gendron at the annual symposium of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec last week in Quebec City.
