Throughout the years, everyone has had someone who inspired or mentored them. With that said, if you were to ask anyone who has worked inside or around the shop at the New Hudson branch, that one name would be Dale Smith’s.

When I started with the company in 1985, Dale was a Field Mechanic for our branch. With a vast knowledge in man-lifts, he seemed to know almost everything about them, or he got you the answer. As well as sharing his knowledge with others, DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME was the way he did things.

Dale left our branch after 10 years of service, and returned later for another 10 years. If you ever needed a tool, advice, or help, he was that guy who helped, and stayed as long as it took to complete the task at hand. Now, Dale is retiring and he will be able to enjoy everything that life has to offer. He will be missed by all. We wish him the best and, as he always says, “It’s always something”…
