Since January 2020, Acier AGF Québec has been working on this residential project in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River. Once completed, it will house 212 high-end condos and a commercial space.
The project is divided into three parts: two 10- and 12-storey buildings, a five-storey commercial space with a rooftop swimming pool, and a two-storey underground parking garage.
It is being built in three phases: the first two are the parking facilities (completed) and the third is the towers (under way). In total, AGF will have detailed, shaped and installed about 1,500 MT of steel.
La Consolata is yet another illustration of the synergies among our divisions, since the detailing was done in collaboration with AGF Tecnik, and Samuel Gosselin, engineer at the Quebec City office, coordinated the project. The installation was done by Armatures EB, our business partner for 20 years.
AGF’s portion of the work is slated for completion in January 2021.

“La Consolata”
Acier AGF Quebec trabaja desde enero 2020 en este proyecto residencial ubicado en St‑Augustin-de-Desmaures, al borde del río San Lorenzo en Quebec, el cual contará con 212 condominios de lujo y un espacio comercial.
Se divide en tres partes: dos edificios de diez y doce pisos, una base de cinco pisos con una piscina en el techo y dos estacionamientos en el sótano.
El proyecto se divide en tres fases: las dos primeras conciernen los estacionamientos (terminados) y la tercera es relativa a las torres (en curso). En total, AGF habrá detallado, elaborado e instalado aproximadamente 1500 t de acero.
“La Consolata” ilustra nuevamente la sinergia entre nuestras divisiones, ya que parte del detallado fue efectuado en colaboración con AGF Tecnik y la coordinación fue garantizada por Samuel Gosselin, ingeniero en las oficinas de Quebec. La instalación fue realizada por nuestro socio de negocios desde hace veinte años, Armatures EB.
Está programado que AGF termine los trabajos en enero de 2021.
