Nellie Los is a Senior Detailer who works at AGF – Rebar Inc.’s Dietrich Division in London, Ontario. She joined the company in April 1987 during a college co-op term and was brought on full time in December 1987. She initially helped two other detailers and gradually started taking on larger projects such as apartment buildings, hospitals, bridges and factories, bringing her to where she is today.
Nellie enjoys the variety of projects she gets to work on and seeing how her planning and the decisions she makes on a daily basis come together in the end. She also enjoys the hands-on aspect of her work, training more junior detailers and passing on her extensive knowledge.
Nellie has seen many changes during her time with the company, but what has not changed are the great employees she works with and their dedication to their work. She appreciates the teamwork that ensures projects run smoothly and efficiently as possible.
When she’s not working, Nellie enjoys getting outside when the weather is nice to golf and go camping. She has also recently joined a women’s beginner hockey league to stay active during the winter!
AGF – Rebar Inc. (Dietrich Division) is the only company she has worked for, and Nellie will be celebrating her 30th year with Dietrich Division in April. This speaks volumes about her dedication and work ethic! Thanks Nellie, for being a fantastic employee!
Nellie Los, Proyectista Sénior, quien trabaja en London, Ontario en AGF-Rebar Inc., División Dietrich, empezó a trabajar en Dietrich en abril 1987, durante un programa universitario de trabajo-estudio y en diciembre de 1987 comenzó a tiempo completo. Al inicio ayudaba a dos miembros del personal de detallado y gradualmente empezó a encargarse de proyectos más grandes como condominios, hospitales, puentes y fábricas, lo que la llevó a su puesto actual.
Nellie disfruta la variedad de proyectos con los que trabaja y ver el resultado de la planificación y las decisiones que toma diariamente. También le gusta ser una persona de acción y formar a detallistas júnior y transmitir sus vastos conocimientos.
Durante su antigüedad en la empresa, Nellie ha visto muchos cambios, pero lo que no ha cambiado son los maravillosos empleados con los que trabaja y su dedicación. Tiene presente que se necesita el trabajo en equipo para que los proyectos funcionen sin dificultades y de la manera más eficiente posible.
Fuera del trabajo, Nellie disfruta salir cuando el clima es agradable para jugar golf y acampar. También recientemente se unió una liga de hockey femenil para principiantes ¡con el fin de mantenerse activa durante el invierno!
AGF-Rebar Inc. (División Dietrich) ha sido la única empresa para la que ha trabajado. Nellie celebrará su 30º aniversario con la división Dietrich en abril. ¡Esto habla mucho de su dedicación y ética laboral! ¡Gracias Nellie por ser una empleada extraordinaria!
