Facility move and a new addition to the team

Since opening the Denver branch April of 2013, Hydro Rents Colorado, Inc. has grown at a fast pace. Completing its first year the Denver branch has 36 machines in its rental fleet. Because of the rapid growth, Hydro Rents Colorado has recently moved to a new facility with a larger building and yard to accommodate past and future expansion. We are also pleased to announce the newest addition to our team and family, Kenny Lauck. Kenny has over 10 years of experience in the scaffolding business and has come on board as a technician. Kenny has been a very strong addition to the team.

St-Joseph’s Hospital project

We are coming to an end on the new St. Joseph’s Hospital. This is a 15 story hospital including an additional building and parking garage. The Hydro Mobile equipment was used by the masons to install over 3 million bricks. The rental consisted of 12 M2-Series machines and 2 P-Series machines. On one of the last elevations we had an area that we could not make the first tie until 60’ in height. We installed the mast sections 60’ high up to the first connection point. We came up with a solution that was approved by Stéphane Pelletier at Hydro Mobile. We created cross bracing out of mast tie extensions to eliminate the side to side load. We then placed 10’ long concrete barriers behind the towers and used masonry pipe bracing at an angle to eliminate the front to back load. The pipe bracing was attached to the mast at 30’ in height. Congratulations to the team for the good work.
