News from Hydro Rents Virginia

Over the last 2 ½ years, Hydro Rents Virginia has experienced unprecedented growth.  Our business unit has exploded from a 20 machine rental fleet to almost 70 units today.  The growth is fueled by a vibrant economy and a shift in contractor focus from purchases to rentals of Hydro Mobile Mast Climbing Platforms.  Hydro Rents has done an exceptional job capturing market share throughout its territory by supplying extraordinary customer service and a reliable product offering.  Hydro Rents is well positioned to continue to lead the Mast Climbing Industry in Virginia for years to come.

In the center of Hydro Rents Virginia’s territory is Virginia Tech University.  This University offers 215 undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 30,000 students and manages a research portfolio of more than $450 million.  Recently, Virginia Tech has embarked on a new project called the Upper Quad.  Two of the buildings, Brodie and Rasche Hall, will be replaced with state-of-the-art residence halls to house more than 1,000 cadets.  Hydro Rents has been part of this project since day one.  Between the scope of the project and time constraints, Hydro Rents anticipates supplying roughly 24 M-2 motorized units and accessories.  Total anticipated costs for the Hydro Mobile Mast Climbers are $1.2 million.  Assisting with this project has been the team of engineers at Hydro Mobile.  With the help of our parent company, Hydro Mobile, Virginia Tech’s Architectural Design Team and Engineers have been put at ease with the capabilities of the Hydro Mobile scaffold and knowledge of our engineering staff.  The project should start in Q3 of 2014.

Hydro Rents Virginia, with the help of its parent company Hydro Mobile, has positioned itself at the forefront of resurgent construction market of Virginia.  With a strong support staff, reliable well-maintained equipment, and strong financial backing, Hydro Rents Virginia has a bright future.
