Rebranding

We are making AGF Access official on the West Coast!  After 15 years of operations in Western Canada, Hydro-West Scaffolding is rebranding under AGF Access. We have completed the first phase of a two part strategy to rebrand and reintroduce ourselves to the market place. This rebranding creates symmetry across all of Canada, leverages the size and expertise of our entire organization, and projects a professional and consistent image for AGF Access. Most importantly it fuels a great opportunity to reach out to our old, existing and new potential customers at the same time as we are rolling out our new sales strategy!

Project Spotlight: Demolition of the Nexen - Balzac Smoke Stacks, Alberta

Hydro-West is currently working on this specialized project together with Tervita Corp. and Nexen Energy.  With 5 Hydro Mobile Mast Climbers installed on each of the two separate smoke stacks, we are helping to facilitate the environmentally sensitive deconstruction of both stacks, which reach over 390’ into the sky.  This project has endured tremendous attention and hurdles to overcome including: endangered Falcon’s nesting in the top, this site is an Alberta Historical Landmark, the stacks are contaminated with asbestos, the first contractor went bankrupt, winter weather shutdowns, media spotlights and attention from various other gas companies watching it progress as a viable option for their own smoke stack demolition projects, to name a few.
