Activities for the official opening of AGF Aceros de Chile took place from May 3 to 5.  

Serge Gendron (80% shareholder) and Javier Giménez, president of Serecon Spain (20% shareholder), signed the agreement and officially opened this new rebar plant in the suburbs of Santiago de Chile.

The plant, which has a monthly capacity of 2,500-3,000 tonnes, has been designed to offer our customers a full supply service, industrial fabrication and on-site rebar installation. It has two cutting lines, three overhead cranes, an automatic bender and two manual benders, controlled by Graintec A+ software.

During our visit to Chile, we had the opportunity to meet with AZA's management to strengthen our business ties and tour the country's largest steel mill, with a production capacity of 650,000 tonnes per year. Best of luck to the entire team at this new facility!

Inauguración de la fábrica de Santiago de Chile

Del 3 al 5 de mayo de 2022 se realizaron las actividades relacionadas con la inauguración de AGF Aceros de Chile.

Serge Gendron, accionista en un 80%, y Javier Giménez, Presidente de Serecon España, accionista en un 20%, procedieron a la firma y a la inauguración de esta nueva fábrica de acero de refuerzo situada en los suburbios de Santiago de Chile.

La fábrica, con una capacidad de 2500-3000 t por mes, fue construida para poder ofrecerles a nuestros clientes un servicio integral de suministro, fabricación industrial e instalación de acero de refuerzo in situ.

Cuenta con dos líneas de corte, tres grúas, una plegadora automática y dos plegadoras manuales, controladas con el programa Graintec A+.

Aprovechando nuestra visita a Chile, tuvimos la ocasión de reunirnos con la dirección de AZA para reforzar los lazos comerciales y visitar la fábrica de acero más grande del país, con una capacidad de producción de 650 000 t por año.
