Painting the Windsor Bridge

Steeplejack Services, Windsor location, has just completed phase one of the repainting of the Ambassador Bridge, the busiest international border crossing in North America. The scaffolding was located on the first pillar in the Detroit River, on the Canadian side of the boarder, 170 feet from the Windsor shoreline.

To complete the job we had to rent two barges and have the scaffolding shipped up river to the building site, twice a week every week.  Windsor was able to erect the 40’ wide X 80’ long X 150’ high scaffold in its entirety.

I would like to congratulate Brian Jean (Estimator & Superintendant) and the team of the Windsor branch for a job well done.
