September 2021 was an amazing month for AGF Rebar’s Scarborough shop!
Under Naveed Aslam’s (Operations Manager) visionary leadership, Scarborough started a new shift regime on September 13th, 2021, that runs for 12 hours per shift. This innovative idea proved very effective for the team, and they were able to achieve ground-breaking numbers that have never been seen across AGF Rebar.
A huge shout out to Louis Villavarayen (Production manager), Jerry Thomas and Waqar Amjad (Production Supervisors) and the hardworking production team who made this happen!
Production hit records not only on a daily basis, but also for the entire month.
To celebrate these outstanding achievements, the Scarborough team, along with the Human Resources and Health & Safety team, worked together to celebrate this milestone on October 8th, 2021.
The air was filled with joy and a feeling of accomplishment while the team participated in a raffle draw with the proceeds going to the AGF Group Foundation.
There were trivia games arranged by the Health & Safety team along with loads of laughter and team cheer!
The HR team had creatively arranged for a photo booth backdrop to capture everyone’s smiling faces that day. The celebration ended with pizza and pop for all who attended.

Septiembre de 2021 ¡fue un mes extraordinario para la fábrica de AGF Rebar en Scarborough!
Bajo el liderazgo visionario de Naveed Aslam (Gerente de Operaciones), el 13 de septiembre de 2021, Scarborough inició un nuevo régimen de turnos, el cual consiste en doce horas de trabajo por turno. Esta innovadora idea resultó ser muy eficaz para el equipo y alcanzaron cifras jamás vistas en AGF Rebar.
¡Le enviamos un gran agradecimiento a Louis Villavarayen (Gerente de producción), a Jerry Thomas y a Waqar Amjad (Supervisores de producción), y al equipo de producción que trabajó arduamente para que esto se realizara!
La producción alcanzó récords no solamente sobre una base diaria, sino también por todo el mes.
Para celebrar estos impresionantes logros, el 8 de octubre de 2021, el equipo de Scarborough, y el equipo de Recursos Humanos y de Salud y seguridad, trabajaron juntos para celebrar esta etapa.
El ambiente estaba colmado de alegría y de un sentimiento de logro mientras que el equipo participaba en un sorteo cuyos beneficios fueron directamente a la Fundación Grupo AGF. También hubo juegos de preguntas y respuestas organizados por el equipo de Salud y seguridad ¡con muchas risas y ánimo de equipo!
El equipo de Recursos Humanos organizó una cabina fotográfica como telón de fondo para capturar las sonrisas de todos durante ese día. La celebración terminó con pizza y gaseosas para todos.
